"Won & Only" - A tribute to the one-hit wonders of Formula 1

The 2012 calendar "Won & Only" is a tribute to the one-hit wonders of Formula 1.

Jean Alesi is the poster child of this category and graces the cover in his blood-red Ferrari, celebrating his birthday in Montreal with his first and only victory.

Monza, the Temple of Speed, saw one of the greatest slipstreaming battles at the Italian Grand Prix, in days before chicanes and Hermann Tilke. Peter Gethin was the winner in a close finish over Ronnie Peterson and Francois Cevert.

Cevert himself scored his only victory in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York.

James Hunt drove for Lord Hesketh and in the rain at Zandvoort showered the "Good Lord" with his only success in Formula 1.

Olivier Panis ignored screams in three languages, French, English and Japanese, to slow down in Monte Carlo to record a memorable all French win for a team owner who once played rugby.

Tangle in the Monaco tunnel between Michael Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya allowed Jarno Trulli to record his name among the F1 winners.

Then we have the new "wunderkind" from Germany. Sebastian Vettel became the youngest pole sitter and race winner in the rain at Parco Monza, giving Toro Rosso - in previous life known as Minardi - their won and only Grand Prix success.
