The format of American Le Mans Series (ALMS) races is simple. Four classes compete simultaneously on one track for a pre specified amount of time. At the completing of the specified amount of time, there is one overall race winner, and four individual class winners. How confusing could that be?
If you are new to ALMS, four different classes competing at the same time can be a challenge to follow. Thanks to some smart race planning, ALMS have made it relatively easy for fans to fallow the action on the track, within each class.
