As 2005 draws to an end the question I have for you is, do you have an iPod? I don’t care if it’s an iPod Nano, iPod Photo, Mini or any of the other models, do you have one? If you don’t, save up a few bones and pick one up.

Not only are they one of the greatest inventions for enjoying music, they also are great for listening to a Podcast. If you haven’t ever checked out a Pondcast or know what they are here is a simple explanation. A Podcast is an audio file much like a book on tape but often of a radio show. There are tons of websites where people will put their own thoughts or editorials into this audio format for others to download and listen to. The qualities of a Podcast will very depending on its source.

How does this relate to motorsprots you may ask? If you have an iPod chances are you have iTunes. On iTunes you can subscribe to a variety of free podcasts that will down load the latest Podcast whenever you log on.

Select the search function on iTunes and enter Champ Car. On the top of the list will be “The Champ Car World Series Audio Roundtable” it’s the same program on the Champ Car World Series website that features John Oreovicz, Gordon Kirby, David Phillips and Robin Miller. The great thing about being in the Podcast format is you can put it on your iPod and take it with you anywhere.

If you don’t have the cash to pick up an iPod I still recommend downloading iTunes for free and subscribing to the Podcast. You can listen to it whenever you want and it will automatically updating each time a new episode is added so you will never miss the latest edition.
